Luke Marsden is a recording engineer, music producer and mixing engineer.

Having assisted renowned producer / mixer Lexxx at The Barn Studio, Luke has worked on many highly acclaimed projects, including but not limited to music from Jai Paul, Lapsley, Wesley Joseph, Obongjayar and Rosie Lowe.

Luke currently works with artists in an array of musical styles, from contemporary electronic production to organic performance based recording - and many in-betweens.

He takes extreme care to explore every nuance of an artist’s individuality and has a huge interest in the mechanics of how music can capture and convey such deeply emotional moments and ideas.

With that, Luke’s approach to music production is one that entirely centres around evoking strong emotional reactions - from both the artist and the listener.

"It's difficult to pinpoint and express every nuance of Luke's skill and attitude within the producing realm. Luke's extensive knowledge knows no boundaries and his patience and detail make the whole process a stress-free pleasure.

I can confidently say with pride that Luke has seamlessly become an extra member of the band, a friendship that has grown organically with a solid loyalty that cannot be faulted."

"From the first session Luke will take great care & interest into what you're attempting to achieve, along with budget, expectation, and what's required in terms of equipment and location.

Luke's knowledge into the world of plug-ins and equipment never ceases to amaze me, and his enthusiasm and hard work to make sure the completed project is the very best it can be, is something that's very rare to find."

"Luke's meticulous approach to detail, fine edits, performance guidance, and pre production is faultless.

Luke works with you as an artist in all the relevant areas to get the absolute best out of a performance, enabling him to create the perfect final piece, that you as an artist perhaps envisioned when you first wrote the song.

I can’t recommend Luke highly enough."
